Written for use during the Sarum College Easter Course for Singers and Choral Directors in April 2002, the setting uses a plainchant style of notation, leaving the familiar texts to dictate the rhythms, dynamics and tempi of both cantor and choir parts. The recording was made during Choral Evensong by the singers on the course in Salisbury Cathedral.
